Electromecanic USA/ Trades person

The Trades person is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and electrical systems. This role requires strong skills in both mechanical and electrical disciplines to ensure the optimal functioning of automation systems in manufacturing environments.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSABILITIES
Install and commission new machinery and electrical components
Support electrical installation of automation projects at customer sites

Report progress and issues to the Project Manager and assigned Electrical Lead

Act as a point of contact between the client and internal technical teams during installation
Coordinate local electrical contractors on-site with the guidance of the Electrical Lead
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical Systems
Connect modules according to height alignment.
Level machines and assembled modular circuits.
Anchor machines and feet to the floor.
Install ceiling braces, including nailing, fixing, and welding.
Diagnose and repair faults in motors, PLCs, and control Systems
Comply with OSHA and electrical safety standards (Arc Flash, LOTO)
Collaborate with other technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requisitos mínimos

High school diploma or GED

Technical or vocational training in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or similar fields

Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport

Valid certification to operate aerial work platforms (scissor lifts, boom lifts)

Willingness to travel up to 85% (domestic and international)

Must be based in, or willing to relocate to Pennsylvania. Ideally near the Fredericksburg area, due to major customer projects during the first years

Electrical certification (e.g., Arc Flash, UL installations)

OSHA 10/30 preferred (or commitment to complete company-sponsored training)

Comfortable working at height and using aerial platforms (OSHA-compliant)

Forklift certification (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178- Powered Industrial Trucks) is a strong asset
