MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Follow the start-up of the machine / installation in Tavil and afterwards the commissioning at the client’s site.
• PLC programming. Mainly used B&R, Siemens and Omron.
• Prepare the safety PLC’s and ensure the machine CE compliance.
• Robots’ programming. Mainly used Fanuc, Kuka and ABB.
• Make mechanical and electrical adjustments to achieve the good performance on the machine.
• Prepare IO layouts and technical documentation for the assemblies.
• Write commissioning reports to ensure a good communication with Tavil.
• Communication with the client in troubleshooting / aftersales assistance.
• Lead a team an electrical and mechanical technician on site.

JOB OBJECTIVE AND ASSESSMENT

To ensure the design, implementation, and start-up phases of the assigned projects, following the indications established by the project manager, and providing the maximum added value in the performance of the tasks.

The technician will be assessed in terms of responsibility and contribution within the company.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum experience of 2-3 years.
• Knowledge of:
• PLC programming in structured language. Preferable in B&R or Siemens PLC’s.
• Servomotors
• Pneumatics
• Basic electrical knowledge (eg. read electrical diagrams, basic cabinet wiring)
• Experience in robotics and/or automation will be valued. Preferable Fanuc, KUKA, ABB.
